Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all the dads in the world, they sure are special and nice to have around the house, LOL!
When I was growing up I didn't have my dad, all I knew about him was from my mother, and she was not very kind to him. When I finally got to meet him, he was very different than how she painted him to be. Funny the things you remember, my dad gave me my first set of books. I don't recall if I ever gave him anything, I'm not even sure I know his birthday. I've seen and spoken with him many times over the course of my life. But I don't really know him. And I'm sorry for that. Hope all you dads have a great day!

According to the local news we are suppose to get up to 103 degrees today, I've not made it outside yet, to check on my yard. So I'm going to do that as soon as I finish here.

HotRod and Gracie had their first tussle last night, John got scratched by Gracie in the process. Cats are so funny. Puppys are even funnier, he just wants to play, he plays hard and doesn't understand that he hurts others. I feel for him, all he hears is "NO" He will be a good sized dog, so there are things I want him to learn now, but it makes for chaos till he does. Well thats it for today. Take care everyone.
